Starting out as a blues singer I wanted to try out jazz standards to get better in what I was doing with my blues band. But soon I noticed that jazz was something that always has been influencing the way I sang. So I gave up my band (I still miss you guys) to go ahead and learn. I jumped right into the world of jazz as a complete novice, seeing that I had (and still have) A LOT to learn.
Learning isn’t always funny, and I had some very straightforward teachers, but everyone of them taught me what he/she could and still that’s the way I go ahead: learning from others and never stop believing in what I’m doing.
